Perfect for instant hedging or screening, Western Red Cedar rootball hedging. Thuja have dark green foliage with aromatic foliage, easy to grow and please. Thuja is less vigorous then leylandii hedging, breaking from old wood, so they are easier to prune. Fully hardy and tolerant of most soil types. Perfect for coastal or seaside situations. Ultimate height and spread - 20-30m in 20 years.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, moist, well-draining soil. Planting should be about 60cm apart for hedge. The rootball is wrapped in hessian and should be planted with the hessian wrap intact which is biodegradable.
