Yew or Taxus baccata is native to the Uk and widely seen in Churchyards. Slow growing but majestic the English Yew or Taxus baccata hedging plants are one of a few native trees in the UK. Evergreen, hardy with dark green needles, aromatic foliage makes the English Yew great for hedging. Taxus baccata can be cut back to the wood and will regenerate again without damaging the tree.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining area. Avoid waterlogged sites. Ultimate height and spread - 6m x 1.5m + 10-20 years. Weight of each rootball approximately 23kgs.
IMPORTANT: Minimum order size of 10 recommended as this product is heavy and needs to be delivered on a pallet. There is a 7-10 day lead time for rootball despatch from date of order as rootballs are lifted and prepared to order.
