Beech Hedge Plants are native to the UK, quick growing popular hedge plant with bright green leaves turning golden to copper in the autumn. Beech is tough, hardy, and suitable for almost anywhere in UK except very windy areas. This native hedging plant is quick growing, bearing copper coloured leaves in winter that are retained on the plants creating year round privacy and screening schemes.
Where to Plant
Beech should be planted in full sun to partial shade, moist, well draining soil for best results. Plant 3-4 per metre for single row hedge, or 5-7 per metre double staggered row, and a more dense hedge.
