At ScotPlants Direct, we work hard to deliver healthy, nursery-fresh plants straight to your door, quickly and reliably. Please read our full delivery terms below.

 

Delivery

Minimum order value: £50 for all orders
All prices include VAT

Delivery Times

Standard delivery: 5–7 working days
Larger items, pallets, and pleached trees: up to 14 working days
Bare root & rootball plants: seasonal availability (Nov–Apr)
Weather delays: Very wet or frozen conditions can affect lifting and dispatch – we’ll keep you informed.

 

Pre-Orders

If your order includes pre-order plants, we will dispatch when all items are available unless you request split delivery. Orders are fulfilled in rotation starting with the earliest. You’ll be notified before dispatch.

 

Receiving Your Delivery

You do not need to be at home. Deliveries are sent “no signature required”. Please leave safe place instructions at checkout.
Examples: “Leave by the garage” or “Behind side gate”. Avoid locations inaccessible to delivery vehicles.

 

Pallet Deliveries

Some plants (e.g. taller bare roots, root balls, instant hedging) are delivered on pallets.
Delivery is to kerbside or nearest accessible point
Flat, hard surfaces required; no gravel, grass, or slopes
Drivers do not unpack or move plants
We book your pallet delivery in advance
Restricted access? Arrange an alternative delivery address if needed.

 

Large or Specialist Deliveries

Large orders may be eligible for direct delivery using a dedicated vehicle.  We’ll call to confirm access and delivery arrangements. Suitable for instant hedging, pleached trees, or multi-pallet orders.

 

Packing & Handling

We carefully pick and pack plants fresh from the nursery before dispatch. Our packaging ensures plants arrive in excellent condition.
