Decription
Carol Allbrook is an attractive yet compact yakushimanum hybrid rhododendron with pale lavender pink flowers. These round clusters of colour are wavy edged funnel shaped flowers that fade to a delightful pale lavender from May until early June.
Rhododendron Carol Allbrook has been awarded the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit) and is perhaps the most sought-after rhododendron for its superb colour.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, well-draining, moist, acidic soil. In order to keep rhododendrons looking nice and clean, dead-head where possible. Roots of this particular rhododendron are shallow, spreading to the side in search of nutrients. Never plant too deep. Height and spread – 0.5-0.8m x 0.8-1.3m in about 10-15 years.
