Self Fertile Blackberry Triple Crown ripens approximately from July to about August (summer) in most areas and are large, glossy black fruits that are firm and full of rich, sweet exciting flavours and contains high levels of antioxidants - great for everyone!! Triple Crown blackberry fruit is perfect for pies, jam, smoothies, freezing and ice cream!! Growing habit is similar to a trailing berry plant, semi-erect in nature. Fruit bearing in 2 years and can yield up to 30 pounds per vine. Height at maturity 4-5ft.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun for best fruit production, well draining, moist soil. Avoid areas with heavy clay or sandy soil. Prepare the soil, make free of rocks, clumps, etc. You can amend the soil by adding some compost to make it the right consistency for blackberry plants about pH 5.5-7.0 for best results. Water well during dry periods.
