English Oak can be a large deciduous specimen tree for gardens.  Beautiful ovate to oblong leaves with 3-6 lobes along each side with a  light green glossy sheen when young.  Good yellow autumn colours.  Stems are grey-green to green-brown.  Upright  growth when young and branching out to form a spreading tree.  Tolerates any soil conditions.  No pruning required.  Full sun to light shade.
