Ozark Blue is a great cold hardy bush, yet can succeed in warmer areas as well. It is generally a Southern High Bush but has a large percentage of Northern High Bush parentage making this an all around Blueberry. Ozark Blue ripens late August (late-season) with rich flavoured large, light blue coloured berries which are ideal for desserts or just picked and eaten fresh off the bush. Growth habit is open / spreading ultimate height 1.5m.
Where to Plant
Plant blueberry bushes in well draining, most, acidic soil (pH 4.5-5.0) Before planting amend soil with ericaceous compost. Water well first year until established.
