Description
Blackberry Loch Ness has a compact habit, upright and is a thornless variety. Loch Ness fruits are large, dark, very firm and exudes flavours to that of wild blackberries. Self Fertile and crops mid August to mid / late September. Awarded AGM (Award of Garden Merit) by the RHS. Ultimate height and spread – 180cm x 90cm.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun for best fruit production, well draining soil. Plant about 5-6ft apart for best bush spacing. Do not plant too deep, keep well watered during dry spells, and especially for the first year. Be prepared to support canes when they being to grow and crop.
