Japanese Holly Hedge 80-100cm Root Ball (Ilex crenata Convexa)

Japanese Holly (Ilex crenata 'Convexa') is the box-blight-proof alternative to Buxus, with the same small glossy evergreen leaves and neat clipped habit. Supplied 80-100cm tall as a root ball; plant 2-3 per metre. Hardy, happy in sun or shade and tolerant of exposed sites.

Planting

Plant as soon as possible after delivery in a trench with the top of the root ball level with the soil, firm in well, water thoroughly and keep watered through the first spring and summer. Leave the hessian on; it rots away.
