A new, exciting, one of a kind hardy hydrangea with massive two-toned white and pink flowers, with strong upright red stems that hold large blooms from 12-16 inches long so there is never any drooping. Gorgeous white flower heads continue to grow throughout the mid summer season turning dark pink as they age with new flowers continuing to emerge white – a truly brilliant and incredible effect in the garden!
Pinky Winky would be an excellent choice as an intense flowering hedge – one of a kind! Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining soil. Pinky Winky is the most adaptable of all Hydrangeas to different soil types, and very difficult to kill. Will tolerate drought. This is an incredible Hardy Hydrangea with extremely large blooms on new growth. You won’t go wrong with this exceptional introduction.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, moist, well draining soil. Prune hard early spirng, cutting back the previous season growth to within a few buds on the permanent woody stems. Ultimate height and width 150cm x 150cm
