Description
Green Privet, popular quick growing, hardy, semi-evergreen hedging plants. Privet is an excellent choice for coastal areas tolerant of the salt spray and windy exposure. Quick growing and easy to maintain, it is the most popular choice for garden hedging. Small white flowers borne in summer with small dark green oval shaped leaves. Hardy and tolerant of most soil types.
Plant full sun to partial shade, moist, well-draining soil.
Where to Plant
Plant 3-4 per metre for single row and 5-7 per metre double staggered for denser hedge. Ultimate height and spread 2-4m x 2-3m.
