Conifer Hedging is the most popular and most unloved conifer in the UK.  Green Leylandii conifers make a superb tall columnar specimen tree and a fast growing vigorous hedge or screen with green-yellow foliage.

Green Leylandii conifers can grow 1m per year and when managed correctly can provide that 'instant' screening effect for privacy. They are a very versatile plant, tolerates most soil types and excellent for coastal conditions.  Likes full sun to partial shade. Fully hardy. Ultimate height and spread - 8-10m. Grown in Scotland.  Plant 1-2 per metre for hedge. 

Common questions

Bare root plants are field-grown and lifted dormant — the cheapest way to plant a hedge. Pot grown plants have an established root system and can be planted year-round. Root ball plants are mature field-grown plants lifted with a soil ball for instant height.
Pot grown plants can go in the ground at any time of year. Bare root is supplied dormant from November to March, and root ball plants are lifted in that same window.
