Mohave is tolerant to the diseases such as scab and fire blight It manages to be successful in almost any landscape situation. Mohave was awarded a Certificate of Preliminary Commendation by the Council of The Royal Horticultural Society, October 1971.

Where to Plant
Mohave tolerates dry soils, but prefers sandy loam with a pH of 6.0-6.5. Grow in full sun to partial shade although flowering and fruiting are better in full sun. Soil should be moist, but well-draining. Mohave is great for barrier hedging, topiary, foundation planting or specimen plant.
