Description

Purple flowers about 8cm across with large deep red blotch at the base. Unusal pattern of flowering, open in the day and close at night.  Perfect drought resistant plants for banks, slopes, ground cover, or that dark winter garden corner or pot.   Ultimate height and spread – 0.5m x 0.5m in 10 years. 

When to Plant

Plant full sun, well draining soil.  Cistus does not like being moved once it is planted – so choose its home with care.
