Description:
Rose ‘Charles de Mills’ is a historic gallica rose prized for its large, quartered blooms and rich colouring. Flowering once in early summer, it creates a striking seasonal display and fills the garden with a strong, traditional rose scent.
Its bushy growth habit makes it ideal for borders or mixed planting schemes where structure and character are desired.
Planting & Care:
- Plant in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade
- Improve soil with organic matter before planting

Common questions
Bare root plants are field-grown and lifted dormant — the cheapest way to plant a hedge. Pot grown plants have an established root system and can be planted year-round. Root ball plants are mature field-grown plants lifted with a soil ball for instant height.
Pot grown plants can go in the ground at any time of year. Bare root is supplied dormant from November to March, and root ball plants are lifted in that same window.
