Where to Plant
Expect cropping in about July. Plant about 1.5m apart in rows about 2m apart. Height and spread about 1.1m x 1.1m.
Plant in full sun, well-draining soil. Rhubarb will tolerate almost any type of soil. Make sure the soil is prepared well and deep as the rhubarb roots will go deep as they do develop a deep root system and best if the soil is fertile, can be partially shaded as well. Rhubarb will be large so the planting hole should be a bit wider than the crown / plant. Plant so that the top of the plant is at or just below soil surface and gently firm around and water well.
