Stunning new rhododendron introduction ‘Wine and Roses’ unique feature is the undersides of its leaves which are deep red purple This excellent new hybrid is a semi-dwarf, compact growing which produces masses of electrifying pink blooms mid-spring. Wine and Roses is considered one of the best dwarf hybrids with distinctive deep purple leaf undersides and the only one with pink flowers.
Where to Plant
Easy to grow and best out of the hot afternoon sun. Soil should be slightly acidic, clay, loamy or sandy. Plant in moist, free draining acidic soil in dappled shade. Plant shallowly and water well during dry spells. Perfect for banks and slopes, beds and borders, containers. Low maintenance.
