Description
Rhododendron Cosmopolitan is one of the first deep pinks to flower in the spring Its light pink blooms, fade to a deeper pink with a red flare in round trusses early May. Cosmopolitan is one of the few rhododendrons that will show a propensity to flower again in the Autumn.
Cosmopolitan is ideal as a specimen plant for all gardens, but can also be used for screening, hedging. It is easy to grow with no maintenance and a hardy hybrid. Rhododendron Cosmopolitan will grow to an ultimate height of about 150-175cm in about 10-15 years.
Where to Plant
Plant Full sun to partial sun / semi-shade for best results, well draining, moist, acid soil. Deadhead when possible for richer flowering. Never plant rhododendrons too deep as the roots are shallow. Fertilise with rhododendron / azalea feed only
