Description
Azalea Daviesii is a deciduous easy to grow, sought after rhododendron with stunning pink opening white flowers with a yellow flare. Daviesii is highly scented blooming May to June. Awarded RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Daviesii is a medium sized shrub with an open habit. It is a Ghent azalea derived from R. luteum and other American species. Flower blooms are funnel shaped, slender and fragrant.
Where to Plant:
Plant full sun to partial shade, south , east or west facing but best in light dappled shade. Soil should be moist but well drained, pH acid. Ideal for flower beds or borders, containers, informal or formal gardens. Azalea Daviesii tolerates sand, clay and loam soil types. Ultimate height and spread – 1-1.5 metres x 1-1.5 metres about 10-20 years.
