Rhododendron azalea Izumi no mai, is a stunning evergreen suited for every garden. Perfect for beds and borders, easy to grow, adding colour during winter months. This azalea boasts a beautiful pink / red flower with a white centre blooming from May onwards. Flowers are funnel shaped which add to the colour bonanza that explodes each spring in the garden. Small but packs a big punch its ultimate height in 10 years – 75cm.
Where to Plant
Rhododendron azalea Izumi no mai would be well placed in the sun to partial shade. Soil should be acid as all rhododendrons and azaleas prefer an acid soil, well draining, and moist. Water well during dry spells. Fertilise each year with rhododendron / azalea feed.
