Azalea Golden Flare covers itself in exquisite clusters of lightly-scented gold / yellow trumpet shaped flowers with an orange / red blotch. Golden Flare is an open, multi stemmed deciduous azalea shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. Stunning for the oncoming spring one can see why Golden Flare is one azalea that sells fast.
Golden Flare will grow to about 5ft tall, with a spread of about 5ft. Rate of growth is medium. It is recommended for general garden use, mass or accent planting. Azalea Golden Flare can be s single specimen as well, that will emphasize the garden.
Where to Plant:
Azalea Golden Flare does best in full sun to partial shade. Planting area should be well drained, moist for optimal growth, and no standing water. The soil must be acidic as rhododendrons and azaleas prefer acid soil. Fertilise in spring with specialist rhododendron / azalea feed. Apply a thick layer of mulch around the root zone to protect if in exposed or colder locations.
