Azalea Pleasant White is a little tough evergreen shrub with large pure white flowers appearing about mid-May. It is a dwarf evergreen rhododendron that will be ideal as a container grown shrub. Imagine the ice white flowers glowing against the small, dark green leaves of Pleasant White.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, well drained, moist acidic soil or if in a container, ericaceous compost. Protect from drying winds, but Azalea Pleasant white is fully hardy. Pleasant White can be planted on banks and slopes, beds and borders, and can be used as an evergreen hedging scheme. Ultimate height and spread – 0.9m x 0.9m in about 10-15 years.
