Description
Beggesens Gold is a small, dense evergreen shrub with perfect tiny, ovate yellow leaves, turning green / yellow in shade. In the spring it bears tiny cream flowers and in the autumn pale violet berries. The perfect plant for beds and borders, hedging and screening. . Awarded Garden of Merit. Coastal areas would benefit from this evergreen shrub as it will do well in those areas. Beggesens Gold is also a very low maintenance plant. Ultimate height and spread – 1.5m x 1.5m in 20 years time.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, moist but well drained soil – tolerates most soil types! Beggesens Gold is drought resistant, good ground cover or container plant. Great as garden edging for gravel gardens, Coastal area tolerant. Useful for hedging and screens
