Description
Extraordinary rich pink flowers on a low spreading deutzia that took ten years to develop. Be prepared to see and experience a shower of elegant pink flowers creating a carpet of colour. Terrific for mass plantings due to its neat, mounded habit and rich burgundy -purple fall colour. It is an outstanding shrub suited for small spaces and is just covered in flowers from late April to May.
Plant full sun for best flowering to partial afternoon shade. Make sure the soil is well draining, moist. Periodic pruning / thinning of branches to maintain their arching form. Eventual height and spread about 2ft x 2ft.Deutzia Yuki Cherry Blossom is low maintenance due to its compact mounding habit. Attractive to butterflies, deer resistant, and ideal for containers, hedging, beds and borders, and makes an attractive cascade over walls.
