Description
Uncinia rubra or Red Hood Sedg a tufted, evergreen, perennial sedge growing to about 30cm with spectacular glossy reddish-green or red brown leaves and dark brown to black flower spikes in the summer. Perfect for beds and borders, containers, rock gardens. Ultimate height and spread – 0.3m x 0.5m after about 5 years. Low maintenance.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to partial shade, well draining or moist but well draining soil. Tolerates most soil conditions.
