Description
Miscanthus Strictus is recognised for its stunning gold banded foliage. Ideal for gardens, landscapes or at water’s edge. Strictus grows very upright, resembling porcupine quills. Fall bloom period shows coppery red plumes turning silver in fall rising to an overall height of 6-7ft. Beautiful winter presence with evergreens in the garden. Strictus is able to tolerate a wide range of soils, including Coastal conditions. Tolerates boggy conditions and may be slower to establish in drier sites.
Where to Plant
Plant full sun to dappled shade. Considered to be deer resistant once established.
