Where to Plant
Plant partial shade acidic soil, from light sandy to normal types, well-draining, moist. Magnolia Daphne is considered hardy but will benefit being planted in an area that is not a frost pocket and sheltered a bit from north and east winds. Plant in an area that is large enough to accommodate magnolias as they will grow quite large. Height and spread after about 10 years – 8-10ft.
