Description
Sarcococca confusa - Christmas Box - is a fantastic compact, hardy, evergreen shrub with a powerful honey scent that will stop you in your tracks. A perfect specimen shrub for any dull winter garden. Good hedging plant - for year round colour and blooms in winter months! This versatile, evergreen shrub needs little maintenance and tolerates a wide range of conditions from difficult spots in dry, or shade. Ideal for borders and beds, shady woodlands, containers or as a low, informal hedge.
Where to Plant
Plant from full sun to shade in well drained soil. Ultimate height and spread – 200cm x 100cm. Feed and water regularly until young plants become established. Once established Sarococca will require little attention and often thrives on neglect. Pruning is not required other than to shape the plant if required – what can be more Perfect!
