Description
Goshiki or the false holy is native to Japan this compact superb plant is perfect for borders, screens and hedges. Slow growing reaching up to 3ft tall and about 3ft wide when mature. Green coloured leaves are tinged with pink, turning red to burgundy, variegated, then yellow-green to gold. Tiny white very fragrant flowers blooming between early and late fall. Disease tolerant and is spiny on leaf edges making this a great intruder deterrent and rabbits hate this plant.
Where to Plant
Tolerates most soil types, but not water logged.. Prefers full sun to partial shade.
