Clematis Princess Diana also known as Princess of Wales is a eye-catching, bright somewhat luminous pink trumpet shaped flower with stunning creamy-yellow centres. This late flowering clematis is a great scrambler on a trellis or frame. Mix with another favourite clematis to make her stand out even more it is no wonder that this clematis was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
Where to Plant
Plant in partial shade to sunny position in well-draining neutral soil. Clematis Princess Dian is fully hardy. In early spring cut back the previous years stems to good strong buds about 6-8 inches above the ground. Fertiliser can be applied at this time; slow release is best. Ultimate height and spread about 2.5m x 1m.
