Prunus Caucasica or the Cherry laurel has leaves that are oblong, dark, glossy green. It is an evergreen hedging plant grown for windbreak protection, screening or privacy. Easy to maintain. Plant full sun to partial shade, tolerates most soil types. Prunus Caucasica is good for hedging, and privacy screening as its growth habit is upright. Ultimate height and spread - 3m x 2m after 10 years.
Where to Plant
Plant 1-2 per metre single row hedge, or 2-3 per metre for double staggered row hedge. Average growth - 1ft per year. Approximate weight of each rootball 25kg
