Description
Ilex Marginata has silver coloured spiny margined green leaves somewhat purplish when young. Ideal for a small garden as a stunning specimen for winter accent. It is also perfect for those coastal gardens as it copes well with sea salt spray. Bonus is that its stems are fantastic for floral arrangements. Fully hardy
Where to Plant
Water well during the dry spells. Requires minimal pruning, remove dead branches or leaves in the spring. Eventual height and spread 15m x 4m in about 10-15 years.
