Concorde Pears are considered one of the best pears for the UK and are a cross between a Conference and Comice Pear. The self-fertile Concorde pear has good cropping production and excellent flavours from the Doyenne du Comice. Put this together and you have a pear that tastes good, produces great crops, and grows well in the UK weather. Its skin colour is normally a yellow / cream colour similar to a conference, but it may be flushed when exposed to the sunlight.
Where to Plant
Tolerates most soil types, plant full sun for best results, well-draining soil.
**Scot Plants Direct can only supply bareroot plants when they are dormant during the winter months from November to April annually.
