Description
Silver Birch is very popular for many gardens, fast growing, easy to maintain and native to the UK. It has good autumn colour, plant almost anywhere. Silver Birch is beautiful when caught by the wind - whispy and elegant. Birch trees are very versatile, tolerant of wind and sun, and enjoy moist or sandy soil. Perfect trees for the Scottish garden as they are extremely hardy. Betula pendula can tolerate wet and heavy soils. Washing the white bark forms with soap and water will keep them shinning and gleaming!

Plant full sun to partial shade, tolerates most soil types.
