Remarkably hardy palm tree has been grown in Europe for more than 160 years and is valued for its exotic appearance and cold hardiness. It grows to about 2-3 metres with a trunk covered with brown fibre. The long stemmed leaves are green but bluish underneath. Dead foliage covers the trunk like a mat. Great for in pots or tubs, balcony areas, patios, or as a stand alone specimen. Plant in sunny location or partial shade. Supplied 60-75cm tall, 7.5Litre pot grown ready to plant
Top Tip: Water in moderation. Fertilise around February. Remove dead foliage when necessary to expose the trunk
