Large stately evergreen shrubs, with glossy dark green leaves, produce sumptuous rose-like blooms in early spring.  The flowers are single, double or semi-double, in shades of red, pink or white.  The secret of success is to provide well-drained but moist acid soil and a sheltered sunny site.  All camellias are produced in our Scottish nursery.
