Buddleja Nanho Blue more commonly known as The Butterfly Bush is a compact, fast growing, semi evergreen shrub with arching branches, lance shaped grey/green leaves, and unusual, fragrant, pale lavender / pale blue large blooming panicles throughout the summer. Buddleja are rich in nectar which encourage wildlife such as ladybirds, and butterflies into the garden. Buddleja are fast growing, developing into a stunning shrub. Ideal for planting among other fast growing plants for an instant garden, drought tolerant, great for beds and borders. Low maintenance. Ultimate height and spread – 1.5m x 1.5m 5-10 years. Plant full sun for best flowering and colours, in most soil conditions, well draining. Likes chalky, clay, loamy and sandy soils. Supplied 15-20cm, 9cm Pot Grown ready for any garden.

 

Top Tip: Deadheading the flowers will keep the plants blooming longer during the season. Cutting back Buddleja plants nearly to the ground in winter to regenerate a beautiful spring/summer plant. Water well during dry periods and fertilise regularly.
