Leucothoe Scarletta or the Switch Ivy is an excellent ground cover shrub that creates a dome of dense evergreen foliage. Provides plenty of winter colours with its rich red young growth.   Looks great in winter containers displaying a red wine colour in winter.   Prefers partial shade, the leaves of this spreading, evergreen shrub look almost metallic in sun.  Plant in well draining soil, prefers slightly acidic.   Supplied Pot Grown in a 2 Litre pot 25-30cm tall.
