Our best selling Jiffy 7 Peat Pellet sizes are 41mm and 33mm and can be used in a variety of medium. We also offer Jiffy Peat Pots that are 100% biodegradable and great to reduce the excessive use of plastic plant pots, and our plug trays with jiffy Peat Pellets included.
Easy to use, Jiffy 7 Peat Pellets just place the pellets into a saucer or propagator with the hole side up and like magic watch them expand. Pellets are fully fertilised so nutrients are not necessary at this time
If you are using seeds, just pop them into the little hole at the top about 5mm deep, drop in and gently cover. If you are propagating cuttings, make the hole deep into the pellet with small rounded object like a pencil, dip the cutting into some root grow powder, then push it into the pellet, about 2/3 of the way down gently then press the peat down around the stem to prevent air from getting into the pellet – when the roots are showing transplant.
