Prunus Lusitanica is ideal for creating a dense evergreen hedge. It has pointed dark green leaves and is reasonably fast growing, but can be pruned to shape and height desired. It bears small black inedible fruits in the winter and small white scented flowers in the summer. It is very tolerant of shaded areas and is also suitable for most soils apart from chalky areas. These are supplied 100-125cm (3-4ft) tall and are rootballed
