Green Privet is an ideal semi evergreen, medium sized shrub with dark green leaves and fragrant white flowers in mid summer. Privet hedges make outstanding screens, as they form a dense, fast growing, impenetrable hedge and is tolerant of suburban pollution . Privet is perfect for town or roadside hedging schemes – or in just about any situation and soil type making this a fantastically versatile choice for hedging. Privet provides wildlife with cover during the winter months and an essential plant for other wildlife. Very hardy, plant full sun to shade, well-drained moist soil. Ultimate height - 5-6ft unpruned, grows about 30cm per year. Best planted 3-4 per metre single row or 5-7 double row staggered. Supplied 30-40cm tall pot grown for all year round planting
