PHOTINIA Red Robin is a spectacular eye-catching colourful alternative choice of an evergreen hedge or single specimen plant. It has brilliant glossy red tinted young leaves gives an amazing display in spring and summer before turning dark green. Red Robin develops small white flowers mid summer, producing another flush of brilliant reds well into the winter months. Prefers full sun to partial shade for colourful hedge or plants. Pruning may be necessary to maintain a well shaped plant. Photinia is an acid loving plant and needs soil ph 4.5 for best results. Plant 3-4 per metre for best results (double staggered row).
