English Ilex Aquifolium or Holly is a slow growing evergreen needing little to no maintenance. Great as an 'intruder deterrent' with its prickly leaves. Dark green leaves with red berries on female pollinated plants providing food for native birds during the winter. Holly plants are superb for creating a formal decorative hedge or including in native mixed hedging. Tolerates most soil types and situations, preferring full to partial shade. Plant 3-4 per metre for maximum density forming beautiful hedge. Available 30-40cm tall, POT GROWN
