English Holly is the most common native evergreen holly than can add drama to any landscape. Its striking glossy leaves and bright red berries making it a perfect accent plant, ideal as a hedge providing excellent winter colour. They are easy to grow and thrive in slightly acidic soil and full sun for best berry production but will tolerate slight shade. Holly may be prickly, but they will warm up the bleak winter months and benefit wildlife with their winter red berries
