Capillary matting allows the process of capillary watering to occur, which provides plants and seedlings with water through the base of their containers, via the natural capillary action of the compost. The matting can be used with staging trays to deliver water evenly over the whole area.  Capillary matting is produced from recycled fibres of cotton and wool.  Water holding capacity: 4.5 litres per m2
